I have absolutely no affiliation with the Dallas Cowboys whatsoever. I'm merely a fan that put this site together for the enjoyment of other Dallas Cowboy fans.

I make no money from this site! This site actually costs me money to operate and, obviously, costs you nothing. This is why I enjoy all the thanks and appreciation from everyone. It's also why I get very annoyed if people use my clips or videos and do not give me credit.

A brief Q and A about this site and the videos:

Q: How often is this site updated?
A: I update this site throughout the season and as I make new videos.. or recieve new quality videos.

Q: Can I post your clips and videos on other websites or message boards?
A: Please do not link directly to a video file. Instead, please just link to the site itself. I've had problems with people leeching my bandwidth by linking directly to my files, if you do this, you might wind up like this guy. If you do post a link to my site, contact me and let me know. I like to see the kind of attention my site and videos recieve. I appreciate your cooperation on this because it helps me conserve bandwidth.

Q: Can I use your clips to make my own highlight videos?
A: Yes you can, but, like everything else... make sure you give me credit for providing you with the content.

Q: Will you add my video to your collection?
A: Yes, but I do have some standards. See the bottom of the page for a list of my basic video standards and some info on how to show me your video..

Q: Why do I have to Right Click and "Save Target As"?
A: I force this primarily to conserve bandwidth. It forces you to save the video in a specific location, and, hopefully, it will help keep people from downloading the same video more than once. Do me a favor and try not to download the videos more than once so I can conserve bandwidth.

Q: How do you capture the videos?
A: I use a Pinnacle MovieBox USB video capture device. I capture the videos as a 720x480 mpeg2 file. After capturing, I use Pinnacle Studio Plus version 10 to do my video editting. I re-encode the highlight clips in DIVX format.

Q: Why do you use the DIVX format?
A: DIVX provides the best video quality in the smallest file size. Its also compatible with PC's and MAC's... so everyone should be able to view these videos.

Q: I'm not seeing a video clip I want. Do you have it?
A: Unfortunately, I ran low on hard drive space and deleted all of the 2005 games other than what you see in the "clips" section or in any of my highlight videos. So, I MIGHT have it... just ask. If I don't have it, I suggest posting a question in the cowboys-forum.com video forum. Some of the other video gurus there might have it.

Q: Will you send me a copy of a game? (DVD or internet)
A: Absolutely NOT! I don't have full games saved anymore and I wouldn't take the time to do that if I did.

Requirements for submitted videos:
1) No cussing! I don't want any videos that my 7 year old can't watch... so don't expect me to post your video if it has cussing in the music.
2) Its got to have good editting. By this I mean, don't just take clips/highlights of mine or others and combine them. Add your own flare and creativity to the video. Simply combining clips and adding music just won't cut it.
3) Keep the file size to a minimum. In my experience, a 15 minute video can be 100MB in size and still have decent quality. Please don't submit a video that is 400 or 500 megabytes in size.

To send me your video, you can use any free file hosting service. www.rapidshare.de and www.yousendit.com are good ones that don't make you register to host a file. Once you have uploaded your video to a file host, email me the link to download your video so I can check it out.
